In late 2013 CheapAir became the first online travel agency to accept bitcoin. Over three years later, they seem to be the only place to easily pay for airfare with the digital currency. Do you know of any other options? Have you ever payed for travel using bitcoin? If so, please share your experience. If not, would you like to have more options for using bitcoin to purchase travel? What are your thoughts?

I bought some bitcoin back in October. It was a wild ride over Christmas and New Year. I though about selling, but held on too long. Still, I'm ahead of where I was and thinking about buying more. Maybe I'll come to hawaii with my profits! lol

Thanks Huimei, Like I said above, CheapAir (not to be confused with CheapOAir.com) Is the only travel site that accepts bitcoin. If you like to purchase things in real the real world, I hope you aren't here in Hawaii. There aren't too many options. But we're trying to change that. I just posted this yesterday: tropicushome.com/buy-with-bitcoin-in-hawaiiJoe
